Our programs are road-tested. We have spoken to more than 20 million students in over 5,000 high schools since 1998. In 2006, counselors rated all of our programs an average of 9.53 on a 10-point scale for “Value of the Presentation,” and a 9.45 for “Effectiveness of the Delivery of the Presentation.” Ninety-nine percent of students agreed that other students would benefit from the programs. On average, students rate the programs 8.79 on a 10-point scale for “Value,” and 8.94 for “Effectiveness.”
Sponsors of our programs have included IBM, Procter & Gamble, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Microsoft, Axia College of University of Phoenix and Dell.
We recruit continuously nationwide, and we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible for further consideration.
We receive over 2,000 applications per recruiting season and unfortunately, we are unable to confirm receipt or provide specific feedback regarding your materials. However, we will contact you if we are interested in setting up a telephone interview to move forward in the process. If we do not contact you, don’t worry! We keep applications on file for two years, and you will be considered for upcoming speaking semesters.
We do keep applications on file for two years, so it’s not necessary to re-submit during this timeframe. However, if you feel that you have improved your skills or would like to submit an updated video, we do encourage you to re-submit.
A video submission is a minimum requirement of our application guidelines.
Unfortunately, a video submission is a minimum requirement for all applicants. We encourage you to ask around and try to borrow a camera from a friend or relative. We'd be happy to give you consideration should you be able to submit a complete application including a cover letter, resume, and video.
At this time, we cannot accept attached files or web links as part of an application submission.
It’s right for you if you want to:
We provide a top-quality, professional speaker training. This includes all-expense paid travel, hotel accommodations and meals. We provide the scripted material a few weeks beforehand, and we expect you to learn the material before arriving at Training. During this 3-day Training weekend, you will work closely with our Trainers as you go through the Certification process. Certification is required before you will be assigned a presentation in the field.
